Mary’s Meals
Schools play such a life-changing role in children’s lives around the world. That’s why we are delighted to be working with Mary’s Meals, helping to encourage children around the world to get an education that can lift them out of poverty in later life.
For just £15.90 (about $22 USD), Mary’s Meals can offer a child living in poverty one hot meal every day for a whole school year. Each nutritious meal encourages children who would otherwise be working from a very young age to go to school, giving them the opportunity to learn (with food in their tummies!) and brightening their futures.
So, what are we doing?
The thisislanguage.com team is committing to provide a minimum of 28,570 meals a year (that will support 200 children for a whole school year!) through our own fundraising activities. We’re also committing to finding ways to facilitate fundraising for Mary’s Meals through our website.
